After about three years at 1613 E. Passyunk Ave., Quaker City Ticket service closed its storefront, we noticed last week.
It seems as if the business lives on on this website, quakercityticketservice.com, but it’s unclear if they’re the same company as the unassuming storefront that used to advertise upcoming events on the sidewalk chalkboard.
This development isn’t exactly surprising, though. With Stubhub, Ticketmaster, etc., when was the last time you walked anywhere to get tickets to an event or game? At any rate, we’ve left two messages with them to try to get some more information, but haven’t gotten a response. We’ll keep you posted.
