Performance Art Center for kids opens in Bella Vista

Man, Bella Vista and Queen Village are on fire! Adding yet another new business to this corner of South Philly, the Performance Art Center for Kids officially opened in their new space on Monday at 729 S. 4th St.

Director Jess Noel offers classes in musical theater for kids ages 4-13 plus ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop and contemporary dance classes.

Despite the “kids” in the name, PACK also offers adult classes. It’s $15 for a drop-in or you can register online for a discount. Here are some of the classes for the moms (and maybe some dads want to do Ballet Body, too).

MON 5:45-6:45PM HIP HOP with Roger
TUES 10-11AM BALLET BODY with Jess
WED 5:45-6:45PM TAP with Kat
THURS 5:45-6:45PM BALLET BODY with Jess

Find them on Facebook here.

This business joins more than half a dozen others that have opened or will be in this corner of South Philly in the past few months: Lacquer Lounge, Bizarre Bazaar, Avenue Scoop, DIG Yoga, Painting with a Twist, undetermined Washington Ave. place, and Growler’s.

Did we miss any? Way to go, folks!

And thanks to one of our loyal readers for tipping off to this new business. See something new? Email us at
