Some people hate Valentine’s Day, but they’re all bitter. Kidding, kidding. But in case you were on the search for something to do that night, here are a few options, some more glamorous than others. Devil’s Den Anti-Valentine’s Day
Instead of serving love- or aphrodisiac-themed bevvies, Devil’s Den is offering $1 off beers that remind us of our exes. Examples: Flying Dog’s Raging Bitch, Weyerbacher’s Blithering Idiot, Stone’s Arrogant Bastard, AleSmith Horny Devil and others. The fun(?) starts at 7pm.
4) For the big spender
Ruby Buffet on S. Columbus is hosting a Valentine’s Day Lobster & Seafood Buffet on February 14 from 3-10pm. $15.99 for adults, $8.99 for children ages 2-10.
5) For the “Two Hearts Beet As One” salad
Sabrina’s Cafe’s Valentine’s Sweetheart Dinner is taking place at all three locations, including the South Philly spot in the Italian Market. 6) For the Iggles lover
South Philly Bar & Grill
Two Valentine-related events: on February 14, a special menu where two people dine for $25 from 5-10pm. On February 15, any V-Day haters can join the Angry Cupid Singles Party from 9pm-2am for dancing and drink specials.
7) For the hop head

8) For the Baller
“Chef Christopher Lee prepares a Valentine’s Day special meant to be shared” from the 14th to 16th. The Surf and Turf for Two is $99.99 – includes salad and dessert, and for the main a 2.5 pound lobster plus a six-ounce New York Strip Steak served with roasted beets, potato rosti, a fine herb butter sauce and a black truffle jus. It also comes with a glass of bubbly or a craft beer.
9) For the really hungry

Ela has two V-Day options, for those who either want to take their sweetie out on the town or those who want to stay in a snuggle. On Thursday and Friday, the restaurant is featuring a $65 4-course pre fixe menu with an optional $25 wine pairing. 12) For those who want to feel rich
The Thursday, Friday and Saturday menus at Bistrot La Minette will feature “luxurious” Valentine’s Day specials. Thursday and Saturday are almost all booked up – call 215-925-8000 to reserve!

14) For the frisky
Fun fact: Passional Boutique and Sexploratorium in Queen Village are owned by the same folks!
