One particularly intriguing aspect of this development is that the three or four tables on 8th Street will be BYOB at first while the restaurant gets its application together. After all, PLCB and neighbors have to give approval for outside seating that serves booze.
Meanwhile, the restaurant is embarking on a partial redesign of the dining room that will be completed for service on Friday April 12.
Then right after that, chef Michael Santoro and General Manager/Partner Michael Dorris will be heading to The Beard House on April 18 for a special dinner, so check here for the menu.
Now if we can just get them to start a weekend happy hour, wink, wink, nudge, nudge. There’s a bartender there that makes the best gin gimlet we’ve ever had.
