South Philly’s Best of Philly winners – and there are plenty of them

best-of-philly-2013Once again, South Philly represented a disproportionate share of Best of Philly winners in Philly mag’s August issue, which marked the 40th year the publication has been running this list.

Some winners are not surprises, but they’re honors just the same. Then there are some quirky little winners like the best car wash. Ok.

Without further ado…

Yes! Best risotto. Sorry about the omission, Fond crew.

There was a “best garden store for people with acres” and a “best home accessories, salvaged and industrial” as well.. Hence the detail with Urban Jungle and Home Furnishings Boutique!

  3. some douche that prefers to correct you then add anything of importance July 31, 2013 at 1:38 pm #

    like your site.

I think you missed Chickie’s Italian sandwich or something like that

Thank you for the compliment, douche. But technically, that would be “some douche WHO prefers to correct you THAN add anything of importance.” No, seriously. I appreciate the addition. There are like 400 categories in that thing.
