An orange liquor-license app popped up in the window at 1218 Snyder Ave., the former Superior Plumbing supply store that closed in August.
This type of application is not for a restaurant, but a beer distributor, which means selling by the case.
There are several peculiar things about this application, though. For one, it doesn’t list a lawyer representing the transfer of the liquor license. It’s also filled out incorrectly, since this is a new owner and a new location, not just a new owner as the app indicates.
Then when you search the state Liquor Control Board’s website, there are no names or officers listed, also a no-no. How does the PLCB let that happen?
We’re trying to find out some more info and will keep you posted.
