Get same-day wine and liquor delivery to your door. Yes, in Philadelphia

The online grocery delivery service Instacart, which launched last month in Philly, has gotten permission to also bring wine and liquor from state stores to its customers.

It looks like it costs $8 for delivery, which is more than it would be for delivery from SuperFresh, Whole Foods or BJ’s, the other local stores the service uses. So that’s a pretty high bar for not wanting to go to the liquor store, and the selection somehow is worse than even a bad state store.

But hey, it’s still pretty cool.

They are offering free delivery for new customers with an order of more than $35. Find all that info here.

Has anyone out there used Instacart for groceries? Any reviews?
