If this hand-painted signage is any indication, Pub on Wolf is inching closer to its opening. And while Owner Ronan Daly mentioned that it’s still a couple of weeks away, the sign is looking great (and we know at least one person will be pleased.)

Back in April, we brought you the news of the construction of the new bar/restaurant at the corner of Front and Wolf in Whitman. Daly wanted to bring a fresh take on the longtime neighborhood joint formerly known as Noc’s Bar.

It’s come a long way since our first report in April:

While there are no specifics for the drink or food menu as of yet, crews have been working on the interior since early March and are currently in the process of restoring the large original bar. The pub will also feature high-top tables on the inside with a pool table and dart board in the back area.

The drab exterior will be spruced up with a new corner awning with the above concrete featuring a large, hand-painted logo — designed by Daly himself.

Be on the look out for more news about Pub on Wolf in the coming weeks. As always, be sure to let us know if you hear something happenin’ in your ‘hood.
