First Pics: Prep and Foxx assoc. salon opens at 1532 S. Broad St.

Prep & Foxx, assoc., a new salon with an environmentally conscious inclination, has opened at 1532 S. Broad St. (near Tasker).

Owners Taylor Greenberg and Jenni Nuygen went for a vintage feel when they opened the salon in March in a former chiropractor’s office. It is a one-stop shop for hair, waxing and nail care. The women, who carry 10 years of experience, say they offer the old-school beauty parlor experience.

Greenberg and Nuygen said that it’s their duty to educate the clientele on their process and products. They emphasize products that are eco-friendly, recyclable and cruelty free. The salon also offers a refill program for certain items to save on packaging.

They even have a backyard for outdoor sessions, a waiting area and possible future promotions or events.
