Outdoor Movie Screening Alert: Despicable Me 2 at Dickinson Square Park

Just when you thought that you and your kids simply couldn’t get enough outdoor movie screenings this summer, the Friends of Dickinson Square Park go and schedule Despicable Me 2 for Sunday, Aug. 3 Monday, Aug. 4 at 8:05 p.m.

You can sign up to join the fun on their Facebook Page for more updates and you’re definitely going to want to bring some goodies and a blanket. Hell, bring the pup out for the night as well. Get there a little early for that perfect spot on “the hill” on the soft play surface at the park.

Can’t make it to see those crazy Minions run amuck on Sunday? No worries – KIDZ NITE at Jefferson Square Park has two more outdoor movie screenings scheduled this summer, including the LEGO Movie on Aug. 20, and Hawthorne Park will have one Aug. 29.

UPDATE: Just got this email about another movie in Marconi Park on Tuesday.
