Frankie’s on the Avenue at 1635 E. Passyunk Ave. is closing, to be replaced by a massage place

As Frankie’s on the Avenue at 1635 E. Passyunk Ave. approaches its closing on Oct. 1, a new business is already being prepared to open in the same location.

According to a permit, it appears that a new massage place will be replacing the women’s clothing and formal wear boutique, which has been a Passyunk staple since 1987.

Massage Philly LLC, the name which the permit is registered under, also has a permit registered at 2016 Walnut St., the location of Philly Power Yoga.

Frankie Amodei, owner of Frankie’s on the Avenue and the building where it is located, confirmed the new massage business without giving too many details. She said the new tenant also owns a few other locations throughout the city.

The massage place that’s going in is the same owners as Massage Bella Vista on 8th and Fitzwater. I’ve been going there for a few years, and it’s awesome!! Really excited to have a place closer to my house.
