Valet parking on East Passyunk Avenue expands to 6-days a week

Remember that time you finally snagged a reservation at Laurel and nearly missed it due to circling the block in search of a parking spot near E. Passyunk Ave.? Well, that’s all about to change.

The East Passyunk Business Improvement District and Passyunk Avenue Revitalization Committee announced that, effective immediately, the valet service typically available Friday and Saturday nights will be expanded to six days a week. Valet will now be offered Tuesday through Sunday from 5 p.m. to midnight in two specific areas.

According to a press release, valet stations will now be located at the Singing Fountain (1500 block) and outside Le Virtu (1900 block). The third valet station is not affected by this new development and will continue to operate in front of the parking lot (between Tasker and Morris) on Friday and Saturday nights, from 5:00pm until Midnight. The service will continue to be run by ParksOps.

While rates are going up — $12 for validated/$21 for non-validated  — a portion of the cost will include a donation to nearby Neuman-Goretti High School. So your hassle-free parking and great dining experience will be doing some good as well.

There are 15 restaurants from E. Passyunk Ave.that validate for valet services and, trust us, it’s a who’s-who of serious eats:
