First Pics: Mesh Vintage is now open at 1926 E. Passyunk Ave.

A new vintage clothing and accessory store called Mesh Vintage is now open at 1926 E. Passyunk Ave.

The store, which opened on Black Friday, carries a range of different eras, mostly between the 1940s and 1990s, all for reasonable prices.

The store was opened by Michelle Renee, a self-proclaimed vintage hoarder who decided it was time to open up a shop to sell off some of her personal collection and continued finds after years of collecting vintage. Her obsession began back in high school when she worked at Goodwill. Since then, her collection has grown quite a bit.

The location of the shop was initially intended to be across the street at 1935 E. Passyunk Ave., but because of the vintage character of this location with tin ceilings and an exposed brick wall, she decided instead on this location.

To create a fun shopping environment, Mesh Vintage will be having DJs playing in the store on weekends.

Mesh Vintage is open from 12 p.m. through 8 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday and 12 p.m. through 6 p.m. on Sundays. For more information visit Mesh Vintage’s website.
