What dickhead comments. Have any of you taken on risk and owned a business in a gentrifying neighborhood? Probably not.Let’s congratulate and support these guys. They are doing their part in making our city better.

Thank you all for the support and creative comments. We have a variety of options on our menu for breakfast and lunch along with items that we made from scratch which are originally made by the owners. Everyone in the community has been super supportive and if you would like to come down and give us a try we are opened Tuesday thru Sunday new hours 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. We are also hosting monthly events for the community. This month is the ice cream social. It is $5.00 admission for ice cream, toppings and a chocolate chip cookie. So come out and meet some of your neighbors. We hope to see you there!!!

Congrats on your business. Its a start up but I can see you thriving in the future. All these people comments are just people who has nothing better to do. Thus you are business owners and they are not. Keep up the great work! I’ll be sure to come by and show my support.

Firestarters Breakfast & Grill is a great place to come meet people in the neighborhood, meeting spot, and place to come eat. The Breakfast and Lunch is on point. Everything is made in front of you. They also have items they make from scratch. The outside needs TLC, but the inside in a sight to seen, very clean, and nice environment. I go everyday. Nothing’s wrong with supporting a great new business.

So I’ve honestly had the pleasure of eating here and talking to the owners. The food is really good. From the pancakes, eggs and home fries to the burger served with an egg on top, the food is really good. The place was very nice inside as well and the wait time for the food was faster than what I’m used to. I think this Breakfast and Grill is a great place and they’ve had my business at least 3 times a week! I love to see and support up and coming places! We need more of this in Philly! P.S. The food prices are very reasonable!

All the ignorance being spoken upon a great business that I bet most of you couldn’t up keep. Takes alot to open a business and chancing it amongst an very mixed neighbor hood. That being said the environment inside is homey and comforting. The people are beyond nice and treat you just as nice. Very family oriented and I’ve had the pleasure of eating there multiple times. The food it’s awesome.. don’t judge the place too much on the outside . Open the door and take a step in I promise you you will change your opinion.. keep up the great work ladies. One step closer to making the city a better place

Driving by I would never step in a place that looks dilapidated as it does on the outside. First impressions are everything when it comes to me and food. And most of the people commenting on here need spell check asap.
