According to an announcement on Habitat for Humanity Philadelphia’s blog, the store is set to open in June in the former EHC Foods Supermarket and Washington Substation location.

The non-profit home improvement store will sell kitchen appliances, furniture, lumber, windows, electronics, furniture and more. You can also donate any of those items to the store. All proceeds from purchases made at the facility will go towards building homes through the organization.

This Washington Avenue location will be the second Habitat for Humanity ReStore location in Philadelphia. The first is located in North Philly.

This new ReStore is just one of the many developments happening on Washington Avenue.
