Craft Beer Day coming to East Passyunk Avenue on May 31

Philly Beer Week is kicking off on May 29, so it’s only fitting that East Passyunk has an opening weekend event in the neighborhood.

Craft Beer Day, scheduled for Sunday, May 31, will bring together 12 neighborhood bars and restaurants with specials, craft beer tastings and more for 13 hours of fun.

The event kicks off at P.O.P.E. for a meet the brewers lunch with Southern Tier Brewing Company and concludes at midnight, when Birra ends their IPA tap takeover day.

The full list of participating restaurants and bars includes, P.O.P.E., Birra, Stogie Joe’s, Noir, Le Virtu, Lucky 13, The Bottle Shop, Fond, Bing Bing Dim Sum, Garage, Ray’s Happy Birthday Bar and Brigantessa.

Each establishment has their own hours set for the event. Some spots just have specials, while others have samplings, food specials and more.

Bing Bing Dim Sum will be outside with an Asian Street Food BBQ from 4 p.m. through 7 p.m.,  Garage will be hosting 21st Amendment and SixPoint Breweries in the afternoon and Lucky 13 will feature Victory Brewing Company and will have a DJ spinning in the afternoon. These are just  a few of the events occurring for Craft Beer Day.

Whether you’re looking to enjoy one beer or many, Craft Beer Day on East Passyunk Avenue will be the place to be for some brews on May 31.
