The farm-to-table restaurant called Fourth and Cross is expected to open on June 15 and the sandwich shop called 1st Ward Sandwich is opening on June 10.

1st-ward

We’ve been following the developments about Fourth and Cross since August and 1st Ward Sandwich we just learned about in April.

Fourth and Cross, located at 1527 S. 4th St., will use locally-sourced ingredients from places like Lancaster Farm Fresh Cooperative, 1732 Meats and Castle Valley Mill. The restaurant will have an American Bistro-style menu, which owner Andrew Michaels has previously called “the bastard child of Morning Glory and Parc.”

Hours for Fourth and Cross will be Monday through Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

1st Ward Sandwich shop, opening at the intersection of Front and Morris, will have a selection of 13 sandwiches, in addition to various soup, salad and sides options. Foobooz has a look at the restaurant’s menu.

Hours for 1st Ward Sandwich are Monday through Friday from 10:30 a.m. through 8 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. through 3 p.m.
