In April we told you about a new restaurant that could be coming to the former Burg’s Lounge location at 21st and Federal.

We now know that a spot called Buckminster’s Bistro, a new restaurant from chef Michael Pasquarello of Cafe Lift and Prohibition Taproom, will be opening in the space.

More from PhillyVoice:

Pasquarello described the bistro as having a “French-y, tapas flair” and midcentury-modern design aesthetic. The name, he told PhillyVoice, is taken fromBuckminster Fuller, an American architect who popularized the geodesic dome design that inspired Epcot.

A look at what the building might looks like once construction is completed.

Buckminster’s will mostly be food-focused, but will also offer a bar with wine and beer on draft. The restaurant is hoping to be open by late-summer.
