Brunch restaurant called Living Room Cafe opening soon at 703 S. 5th St.

A new spot called Living Room Cafe, which is opening soon at 703 S. 5th St., is extending the hours typically associated with brunch.

This new restaurant, which is replacing Cups and Chairs tea lounge, is specializing in brunch. Yes, you can can get brunch seven days a week, from early a.m. hours until they close at 7 p.m.

Living Room Cafe will offer typical brunch fare like eggs Benedict, lox and eggs, bagel platters, etc, but will also have health-conscious options, as well as veggie and vegan dishes.

The menu will also include waffles with popcorn chicken, buttermilk pancakes with 5 spice (these, alike with a few other items, will have an Asian twist to it), and veggie burgers. To drink, they will have BYO Bloody Mary mix, smoothies, various loose teas, coffee, and espresso drinks.

Hours for Living Room Cafe will be Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Saturday, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.; and Sunday, 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. You can check out their website here.

    I don’t think this spot is “new”. I remember going to the living room cafe back in ’05 somewhere in queen village.
