South Philly Barbacoa hosting Isaiah Zagar art show tonight

Looking for something to do tonight? South Philly Barbacoa, who just recently opened their new storefront at 1703 S. 11th St., will be hosting the first of a new series of art shows.

Tonight, Isaiah Zagar, who recently installed one of his murals on the location, will be displaying some of his new artworks at the space.

The other good news about this is that while South Philly Barbacoa was originally only going to be open on Saturdays and Sundays, they’ve decided to expand their hours to include Fridays, as well. So you can now stop in for some of those awesome tacos as early as 7 a.m. on Fridays.

Proceeds from events like this will go towards immigration reform, a topic very close to owners Cristina Martinez and Benjamin Miller. Despite being married to Miller, Martinez has still been having difficulties getting her green card.

If you’re looking to pop in the art show tonight, you can check it out between 6 p.m. and 10 p.m.
