20th and Wharton development approved by ZBA

Earlier this year we shared with you the updated plans for a development project set to replace a warehouse at 20th and Wharton.

Rendering for the development.

The project, which was initially presented last year, has been approved by the Zoning Board of Adjustment, so construction will soon be beginning on the 22 homes that will be coming to this lot in Point Breeze.

More from Naked Philly:

Remember, OCF Holdings presented a project for this parcel over a year ago for twenty-two homes which got denied at the ZBA. In April a new iteration of the project came through, still for twenty-two homes, but this time with 1:1 parking. Last week the project went before the Zoning Board in a marathon two-hour session, and the project was held for discussion. Today, the ZBA voted in support of the project. When reached for comment, developer Ori Feibush simply said “Hallelujah.”

Construction is expected to begin in September.
