First Pics: Maribel Mexican Restaurant open at 7th and Moore

A few weeks back we told you about some new eating options coming to 7th Street, including a new Mexican restaurant.

In this location across the street from the new “Language Labs” mural at 7th and Moore, you can now get your Mexican food fix at Maribel Restaurant.

This new restaurant has been open for about a month now in the location. When you enter the restaurant, you will definitely notice the bright yellow walls. The rest of the decor is fairly simple, with a few plants and fresh flowers, along with chalkboard menus on the walls.

Maribel has space for about 15 eat-in diners. They also offer takeout. The menu includes a pretty standard selection for a Mexican food spot.

As you can see, the restaurant has a pretty good view of the mural.

You can get traditional foods like tacos, huaraches, tamales, tortas and more. Maribel is also open for breakfast, so you can stop in for egg dishes like Huevos Rancheros in the mornings. The drink selection includes a variety of sodas, in addition to house-made horchata and Jamaica.

Hours are from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. from Monday through Thursday, 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday. Maribel doesn’t have a website, but you can contact them at 215-755-1005.
