Celebrate the beginning of fall with PHS Harvest Fest

As the PHS pop-up gardens are preparing to close at the end of this month, it’s time to cherish the last two weeks of pop-up outdoor fun.

To help celebrate the beginning of fall, both of the PHS pop-up gardens in South Philly will be having a Harvest Fest with a variety of fall-related activities all weekend long.

On September 18 through 20, you’ll have a chance to grab some drinks, listen to some music, ask PHS all of your gardening questions and more.

For kids, there will be pumpkin painting and games like bocce, lawn darts and more. For adults, you can join in a game of quizzo, enter your home-grown produce into the “Garden Bounty” and “Garden Giants” competitions.

The event runs three days, so be sure to check out the schedule of events for both gardens to see what’s happening each day.  Find out more about Harvest Fest here.

Events are happening at both the 9th and Wharton and South Street pop-ups.
