While the permanent redesign for Bainbridge Green isn’t ready to go just yet, there will be a test-run with a temporary parklet at 4th and Bainbridge from October 28 through November 3.

The roundabout will be closed during this week-long period to test the traffic flow and to gauge how pedestrians will utilize the space once it becomes permanent.

After this week-long run with this installed parklet space, including events at the space over the weekend, a community meeting will be held to present three pre-schematic design options for Bainbridge Green. At the meeting, neighbors will be able to comment on the designs and share ideas for potential programming that they’d like to see here once the space is completed.

The meeting will be held on Tuesday, November 17 at Zakti! Fitness at 417 S. 4th St.

According to the Queen Village Neighbors Association, they hope to unveil the final designs by January or February. You can read more about previous plans that were presented for the space here.
