Sandwich shop from the owners of Suppa opening at 6th and Catharine

After less than a year at 600 Catharine St., Square Pie moved to a bigger location in the former home of Cochon over the summer.

Owners of Suppa, a brunch spot in Northern Liberties, are now opening a sandwich shop called Samwich in the location.

More from Philly.com:

Samwich, playing off the name of the sandwich section of their menu, will occupy the former Square Pie and Blue Belly BBQ corner spot at Sixth and Catharine Streets. (Square Pie moved into the former Cochon across the way at Catharine and Passyunk.)

Leaming says the scratch-based Samwich will be based on sandwiches, with salads and soups. Though focused on takeout and delivery, there will be some seating.

Samwich is expected to open in December. They will be offering delivery and take-out through Caviar since there is very limited seating inside.
