Terrible floor plan, living room is nothing but a hallway, but the house has a certain appeal. too bad these rows are so narrow, which means that the stairway is so steep that one must walk up with feet sideways, which is one reason why I have been reluctant to buy a narrow row, although I do realize that more than 50 percent of housing in Philly is row.

@vee, if your reluctant to buy a row home, why the f*ck are looking in South Philly??

Anyway… $150K seems like a pretty good deal.

My row may be a bit wider, not sure, but it’s more than a hallway. I suppose it depends on what you compare it to. I find rows to have some great and interesting features, and you can’t get a more walkable neighborhood with that type of housing stock. Even with small yards, walkability starts to take a hit (less people packed in, setbacks, etc.)

This house has a lot of character and is pretty reasonably priced. Although, “walking distance to Passyunk Ave…” is true but a bit of a stretch. It would be the same as marketing my house (in Passyunk Square) walking distance to Center City restaurants, shopping and entertainment. True, but not really the central talking point of my hood and proximity.

It’s not untrue that it is walking distance from Passyunk ave. Passyunk is less than 3 blocks south of it at that point. Passyunk square is a different story.

They didn’t rip out every original feature?? Holy crap!

This looks great and the price is amazing, but it’s a *little* too close to Newbold for my tastes.

Nice house and a good price. Attractive decor and no sectional couch! LOL. My only gripe is the back yard fencing. It’s a mess and needs replacing. If it were my house I’d build a concrete or cinder block wall. The yard would be more secure especially since it’s a corner property.

$150K is a reasonable price IF it includes the yoga ball/desk chair thing.
