The South Philly Striders, along with the Fishtown Beer Runners, are hosting the Holiday Lights Run again this year.

You’ll have the chance to run through one of the best Christmas displays in the nation, located just over on 13th Street, between Tasker and Morris. The run begins a bit farther south at Broad and Oregon, before traveling north to check out the Miracle on 13th Street along the route of the approximately 3 mile run.

Seeing that the beer runners are one of the hosts of the event, it’s only fitting that the run then finishes off with the opportunity for some beverages. The run will conclude at American Sardine Bar at 18th and Federal.

Since this run is all about the spirit of the holiday, prior to kickoff, they will be accepting donations for canned foods for Philabundance.

All are encouraged to wear holiday costumes.

The Holiday Lights Run is happening on Thursday, December 10 at 7 p.m. You can find out more on the Facebook event page.
