Fourth and Cross is closing for good after service on Monday

Fourth and Cross is calling it quits in Pennsport after having been open for less than a year.

Very recently we told you about their reconceptualizing, seemingly as a plan to stay afloat. Now the farm-to-table restaurant is closing after service on Monday, December 21.

Owner Andrew Michaels opened this restaurant in May after completely rehabbing the former Bell’s Delly, with a relaxed, American bistro-style. He then changed things up with a slightly different concept, including candle-lit dinners earlier this month.

The letter Michaels posted on Facebook:

As stated in the letter, there are a number of undisclosed reasons for the closing of Fourth and Cross. Michaels is now seeking assistance in finding new restaurant jobs for the members of his staff. Any remaining food left at the pantries of Fourth and Cross by the end of service on Monday will be donated to local food banks and shelters.

While sadly the Pennsport-area will be losing Fourth and Cross, the area will soon be gaining two other restaurants, Neon Lobster and The Wild Burrito.
