As we prepare to ring in the New Year at midnight, the last thing anyone wants to worry about is how to make it home after the celebrations.

SEPTA has you covered this New Year’s Eve with extended service and additional trains for December 31 through January 1, as West Philly Local points out.

On New Year’s Eve, Thursday, December 31, extra trains will be operating for the Broad Street Line and Market Frankford line beginning at 7:05, specifically for traveling to the fireworks at Penn’s Landing. In addition to those special trains, SEPTA is operating all night to get you home from wherever it is you’re celebrating.

New Year’s Day, SEPTA will be operating on a holiday schedule. Trains on the BSL will operate every 8-10 minutes from at least 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. for the Mummer’s Parade. There are a number of bus routes that will be delayed on Friday due to the parade.

You can find all of the information on the schedules and delays for the BSL, MFL, buses, trolleys and regional rail here

Happy New Year, everyone!
