Update on new restaurant at 20th and Bainbridge from owners of Loco Pez
Over the summer we told you about the owner of Loco Pez taking over the former Twi-Lite Lounge location at 20th and Bainbridge. At that time, the concept and plans for the space were relatively unclear, other than the news of it becoming a restaurant.
Now the owners have decided on a concept, which means opening a second location of their popular Fishtown taqueria and bar instead of bringing a different concept to South Philly.

Beckham said they will add a second story to the building and hope to be open in early summer – “but you know what they say.”
Loco Pez isn’t the only restaurant bringing their concept in North Philadelphia farther south. Kensington BYOB Helm is expanding into Pennsport.
