LoMo Civic seeking vendors, musicians for annual flea market

Spring is finally approaching, which means it’s time for the annual house cleaning associated with the season.

If you’re planning on getting rid of some of the items in your home, you may consider becoming a vendor at LoMo’s annual spring flea market in April. While it’s still more than a month away, they’re now seeking vendors to participate.

The flea market sets up on Broad Street between Snyder Avenue and Jackson Street on Saturday, April 23. The date is Sunday, April 24.

If you sign up as a vendor prior to March 25, a 12 ft. by 6 ft. space at the flea market will cost you $20. After that date, rates increase to $30 per space. If you’re already a LoMo member, spaces will cost you $20. You must provide your  own folding table.

Not interested in a table but still want to clean house? Donations of household items, small appliances, furniture and more will be accepted day-of the flea market, with proceeds going towards the civic association.

In addition to vendors, musicians are being sought for the April flea market. If you’re interested in performing a short set at the event in exchange for a free vendor table, you can contact lomophilly@gmail.com.
