Improvements have already been made at the park, as seen in this photo from last summer.

Now funding has been secured for this little lot to become a more useable space, with construction expected to begin this summer.

Original plans for this renovation included much more grass, but as time progressed, the use of planters and street trees has instead become part of the plan, according to a renderings from earlier this year. In 2014 we shared some plans for the park that showed stormwater management with the use of permeable pavers, trees and other greenery.

Friends of Titan Park is continuing to work with the Department of Public Property for the final design. We’ll update you once there are more up-to-date renderings for the lot.
