Bernie Sanders campaign office opens on East Passyunk Avenue

For the 2012 election, Occasionette’s location served as a campaign office for Barack Obama.

Now for 2016, East Passyunk Avenue is getting a campaign office for another candidate. Boutique W closed in this large storefront at the end of 2015, now Bernie Sanders will be represented with a campaign office in the location at 1916-18 E. Passyunk Ave.

You may also recall that a Bernie Sanders mural was painted very recently at 22nd and Catharine. It sure seems like South Philly is feeling the Bern.

Regardless of who you’re supporting, today, March 28, is the last day to register for Pennsylvania’s primary on April 26. If you haven’t registered, you can do so online here.

Nice! Be nice if Hillary’s people would figure out the value of having a South Philly field office… Any word on where she’ll be setting up shop?

South Philly is not wealthy enough to attract Hillary’s attention.

Wait: Two replies about something opening on the Avenue and no complaints? Who are you people? What about parking? It’s a chain, isn’t it? Wouldn’t that have been perfect for a Wegmans/vape shop/70s t-shirt boutique?

    They must be Sanders plants.

The “W” is most appropriate as Bernie Sanders would certainly continue the Wolfowitz, Pearle Neo Con plan for the middle east that the Bushes started.
Bernie Sanders is a ZIonist Marxist and a dead beat dad. In addition to that, he never saw a spending bill for Israel that he didn’t like.

The Sanders Campaign office should have a big sign out front saying, ALL COMMUNISTS WELCOME.

Indeed! It is sad that a street populated by small businesses has to look at a campaign office that is promoting a man who’s policies would be a disaster for small businesses.
Can you imagine eating at your favorite E. Passyunk restaurant when all the employees are unionized?

Why do you associate Bernie Sanders with communism?
