PSPCA offering $1,000 reward for information in shooting death of cat

Over the weekend a cat was discovered dead with a gunshot wound on Cantrell Street near 5th Street.

The PSPCA is now offering a $1,000 reward for anyone who has information that can lead to an arrest in this animal cruelty case.

PSPCA Officials said a resident found the cat’s body on Cantrell Street near 5th on Saturday and contacted authorities. Humane law enforcement officers recovered the body and took it to PSPCA headquarters on Erie Avenue, where it was discovered that the animal had been shot to death.

    This shouldn’t be too hard to figure out. Some people on that block have been reporting some neighbor guy for poisoning cats for the past year. Dot-meet-Dot.
