New Eagles player is pretty confused about South Philly median parking

Cars have been parking illegally in the middle of Broad Street as far back as 100 years ago. But to a new Eagles player from Wisconsin, this parking situation is a new phenomenon.

Brandon Brooks recently enter a five-year, $40 million deal with the Eagles. Now that he’s in the city, Brooks is learning the ropes – including South Philly’s parking situation.

While Brooks certainly has a lot to learn about the city, he’s at least settling in with Wawa and cheesesteaks from Tony Luke’s.

Soon he’ll be parking in the median with the rest of South Philly.

If he thinks Broad St. median parking is funny wait until he drives to the Acme on Oregon Ave. with cars half-assed parked on the median cement curbs.

Drive down E Oregon towards the Oregon Diner / Whitman Plaza and he’ll see cars parked on the median in FRONT of the street lights, at the intersection.

Simple Y’all – not enough legal parking spaces for all the legally owned cars registered in South Philly.

Why does this website pay attention to a a 20 year old with CTE who will eventually have his brain sliced into thin strips to study concussions in pro football.
