Submit your Passyunk Square stoop to be featured as a ‘Stoop of the Month’
Do you live in Passyunk Square and have a cute home? Passyunk Square Civic Association is starting a “Stoop of the Month” contest to spotlight the stoops of the neighborhood.
You can submit photos of your home to PSCA for a chance to be featured in the newsletter and win some neighborhood bragging rights.
Whether you have a nicely-kept window box, decorations on your stoop, or simply an interesting exterior, your home could be worthy of winning.
In addition to being featured in the PSCA newsletter, you’ll win a $10 gift card to Urban Jungle to contribute even more to your curb appeal, along with a sign that will be placed on your home to let all of Passyunk Square know how cool your stoop is.
Here’s what you need to get your home spotlighted:
- 1-2 digital color photos
- Property address
- 1-2 sentences describing why your stoop is so cool
- Your name and the property owner’s name
All of that information can be sent to stoopofthemonth@passyunk.org. Submissions for May’s spotlight are due by Friday, April 22.
We share some similarities to our neighbors to the north in New York City. But one of those similarities does NOT include calling your front steps a “stoop”… However, I think this is pretty cool and encourages people to be creative with their fronts!
