Passyunk Passeggiata will return on Wednesday, June 1 with live music, the singing fountain farmers market and deals and specials from local businesses.

Some participating retailers are offering special promotions if you stop in on Wednesday nights, while others will simply remain open later in the evening to encourage more foot traffic during these hours. Volta Market will host free tea tastings, N.R.S. Boutique will offer a 15% off sale, $1 ice cream sandwiches or frozen bananas from Favors & Flavors and more. Close to 20 restaurants will also be hosting specials during an extended happy hour on Wednesdays only. Stop in restaurants including until 8 p.m. for the special promotions.

There will be two locations to enjoy live music at this summer. During the farmer’s market at the singing fountain you can enjoy music from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Music at the Mifflin Street Triangle will then begin at 6 p.m. and will go until 8 p.m.

These Passeggiata events are meant to bring together the community for after-work strolls in the summer and fall. You can find a full list of participating businesses and musicians here.
