Practice yoga during Dickinson Square farmer’s market on Sunday

On Sunday mornings throughout the summer you can shop for fresh fruits and vegetables at the Dickinson Square farmer’s market. Now you’ll be able to indulge in some more healthy living with the addition of a weekly yoga class at the park in conjunction with the farmer’s market.

Dickinson Square Park

Starting in June, Yoga on the Banks will be bringing their outdoor yoga classes to parks throughout the city during farmer’s markets as a way to promote healthy living. In South Philly, you can practice your down dog in a Pennsport park that could eventually have a dog run.

The yoga class will set up on the grassy area next to the farmer’s market. There is no set fee for taking the class, but it is donations-based to keep the program alive. If you’re interested in attending, either bring a yoga mat or attend and practice on the grass. All skill levels are welcome, including beginners. You can even bring your whole family to enjoy some outdoor relaxation.

This series will also bring yoga to other farmer’s markets in the city, including Clark Park and the Schuylkill River Park.

The Dickinson Square yoga classes are on Sundays from 9 a.m. through 10 a.m. These yoga classes will run from June through September. You can find out more about Yoga at the Market here.

Good catch. Seems PassyunkPost pretty much uses stock photos from Google Images for all photos.

How hard is it to snap a current photo?!
