Asian Palace Restaurant to open in former La Stanza location

In 2011, La Stanza Italian restaurant on Oregon Avenue was paid a visit by the Food Network’s “Restaurant Impossible,” in hopes of saving the family-run business. Despite that attempt, the La Stanza still ended up closing its doors for good.

A new restaurant called Asian Palace Restaurant is now set to open in the location at 2001 W. Oregon Ave.

This Oregon Avenue spot will now be an Asian cuisine restaurant that also serves as a wedding venue.

Let’s hope they have a little more luck here than the La Stanza crew did.
