A rooftop bar is opening this week at the former Bok Technical School

The rooftop bar at Bok has returned.

le-bok-fin

Instead of being called Le Bok Fin, this new iteration of last year’s successful bar atop the former school is simply being called Bok Bar. Starting on Thursday, July 7, you’ll be able to take in the great views of the city while enjoying drinks and a selection of Vietnamese and Filipino cuisine.

This year’s operation will be run by Stephen Yaeger, with chef Ronan Libunao in the kitchen. The menu includes Vietnamese and Filipino dishes, all under $10. You can choose from a menu with Bánh mì, scallion pancakes, chocolate suman and more. For drinks, you’ll be able to enjoy a selection of 13 different beers and 9 wines. You can check out the full menu here.

According to The Insider, this year’s rooftop bar will operate “Until it’s too cold.” With the pop-up starting earlier in the season this year, it looks like you’ll have even more time to visit this summer.

The rooftop is strictly for ages 21+, except for on Sundays, which are the designated “family day.” Since this is an outdoor operation, the weather does affect the restaurant’s opening on a day-to-day basis. You can check in with Bok Bar on Twitter to stay updated in case of a weather-related closure.

Hours are Tuesday and Wednesday from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m., Thursday from 6 p.m. to 1 a.m., Friday from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m., Saturday from 12 p.m. to 2 a.m., and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Family day is a nice addition. Lots of families right around the building would love to have a Sunday afternoon up there
