Buckingham Valley Winery shop opening this week on East Passyunk Avenue

Since 2014, the storefront at 1926 E. Passyunk Ave. has been home to a vintage shop and a home decor store. This week, it will open as a wine lover’s paradise.

Vin Cafe, a bottle shop for wine from Buckingham Valley Winery, will be soft-opening on Wednesday, July 27 for the Passyunk Passeggiata.

We originally told you about the Buckingham Valley Winery tasting room in September, but it was set to open at 1841 E. Passyunk Ave., the location that is now slated to become A Man’s Image’s new spot.

More from Eater:

Owned and operated by Eric Krogstad, Vin Cafe will be, first-and-foremost, a bottle shop selling bottles and cases from the local vineyard Buckingham Valley, one of Pennsylvania’s oldest family-owned vineyards. In the first few months, Vin will be retail-only, but come September, the shop will turn into a “real cafe,” says a store rep, serving wines by-the-glass and small plates (think charcuterie and desserts), as well as Illy coffee and Bucks County-local Solekombucha.

Hours are expected to be from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. from Tuesday through Thursday, 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday and 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday. You can keep up with Vin Cafe on Facebook.
