Rooftop yoga returns to Bok this weekend

Along with being a rooftop hangout for grabbing some drinks, the former Bok school’s roof is also a place to get a nice, relaxing workout in.

Starting this weekend, Bok will begin hosting rooftop yoga classes again.

The hour-long yoga sessions from instructor Katie Gould were such a hit last summer, that they’ve now expanded the offerings. Last summer the former school only had Sunday morning classes. Now you can enjoy yoga on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6 p.m., and on Sundays at 11 a.m.

There’s space for up to 50 people in the classes, but spots fill up quickly. If you’d like to attend, it is encouraged that you signup online. You can find that information here.

Planning on attending? Classes will cost you $10. You’re also welcome to bring your kids on Sundays for Bok’s family-friendly day of the week. The class will cost $5 for children.

Entrance for the yoga classes is on the 8th Street side of the building. You should bring a yoga mat, water, sunscreen and a full-length towel with you. Classes are expected to run throughout the summer, starting on Sunday, July 31.
