Spotted: SEPTA installs bike racks at Tasker-Morris station

We all know that bike theft is a huge problem in the city. For some commuters, it can be a bit of a deterrent from cycling as a form of commuting. SEPTA has now come up with a solution to get more people riding their bikes to the Broad Street Line subway stations.

A bike rack has been installed underground at Tasker-Morris to create a new option for commuters to lock up their bikes in a designated location at the station.

Have you spotted new bike racks at any other Broad Street Line stops?

I saw one at Spring Garden this morning! It’s a great idea in theory, but at this particular stop, it looked like any bikes that used the new rack would really be in the way. I guess time will tell.
