A new Point Breeze restaurant is getting ready to open. On Point, the American bistro from Juan and Mallory Lopez, is now aiming for a mid-September opening at 1200 Point Breeze Ave.

The new tenant for the former Breezy’s location is still waiting on one more license before they can officially open their doors, serving foods including breakfast burgers, fish and chips, cauliflower fritters and more.

According to the owners, Thursday, September 15 will be the official opening date, “pending no disasters” in the next two weeks.

In addition to the menu items we shared with you previously, On Point has also announced the addition of desserts from Essen Bakery to the menu. The pretty new Passyunk Square bakery is creating a special menu for the restaurant with a number of sweet treats. On Point will also be utilizing Essen’s Challah bread for the French toast on the brunch menu.

Once On Point opens, hours will be from Wednesday through Sunday, from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., and then from 5 p.m. through 9 p.m. You can follow On Point on Facebook and Instagram.
