East Point Breeze Neighbors hosting beer tour this weekend

East Point Breeze Neighbors, the community group that recently changed its name from Newbold Neighbors Association, is hosting a neighborhood beer tour.

On Saturday, October 15, the community group will take tours of five houses in the boundaries of the community group, from Broad to 18th and Washington to Passyunk, while enjoying beers from local breweries.

Each home will have food and drink from breweries including Victory, Second Story and Evil Genius, along with food from the recently-opened On Point Bistro, Talluto’s Authentic Italian and Rosario’s Pizza. The locations will have a food option paired with at least two different beers.

For $40, you can indulge in all of these food and drink options, meet new neighbors and even receive a custom-designed beer mug.

If you decide to attend, you will be given a map of the five home locations. You can purchase tickets online here. A limited amount of ticket will be available day-of the event for $50.

My favorite Passyunk Post comment about this name change a few weeks back was “East Passyunk Ave. West.” If you’re reading this, kudos!
