Mi Lah Vegetarian to open restaurant in former Hostaria da Elio location on 3rd Street

Hostaria da Elio closed its doors at 615 S. 3rd St. at the end of May after 16 years in the location. A new vegan restaurant is now in the works for that Queen Village storefront.

Mi Lah Vegetarian will be serving dim sum and small plates options from the location.

The restaurant is currently based in Ambler, a location which owner Jason Lay, originally from Cambodia, opened in 2008. Mi Lah’s menu utilizes fresh fruits and vegetables from local farms for their vegetarian fusion options. Dim Sum will be a new addition to the Ambler location once the restaurant is up-and-running in Queen Village.

Mi Lah serves lunch and dinner, along with a weekend brunch. You can check out the menus of the restaurant’s current location here.

Owner Lay is aiming to open the restaurant by mid-November.
