When Texas Wieners announced a hiatus, due to a failed health inspection and the owner’s plans to sell the business, many regulars of the 93-year-old hot dog shop expressed disappointment.

The shop at 1426 Snyder Ave. will soon be up-and-running again, under new ownership. Texas Wieners is aiming to be open as of November 1.

From The Insider:

Michael Viggiano, whose brother John was the latest owner of the shop at 1426 Snyder Ave., said he would reopen Nov. 1 after extensive cleaning and sprucing up.

He said he would run the same menu, which specializes in grilled, split hot dogs.
