Vaping trend leaving East Passyunk Avenue

In 2014 the trend of vaping started to make its way to South Philly. Cloud N9NE opened on East Passyunk Avenue, another shop called E-Cig came to 10th Street and even more shops opened on South Street.

East Passyunk Avenue‘s two vape shops are now closed. Does this mean the vaping trend is dying off?

Cloud N9NE’s space is currently up for rent, as is the avenue’s other vape shop, which vacated its storefront at 1725 E. Passyunk Ave. in the past week. Ringside Vapes was the more recent addition to the street, having opened in September 2015.

Another vape shop was being planned for Jackson Street, but the owners switched concepts to a coffee shop, partially due to the high rate of the PA wholesale tax.

No, her predictive powers must be pretty strong, she left in the same truck.
