Spotted: Trump-related graffiti in South Philly

The outcome of the 2016 presidential race brings us a new president-elect, Donald Trump. With the election of this new leader for the country, South Philly is seeing some Trump-related graffiti, including a swastika spray painted onto Meglio Furs and other acts of vandalism around the city.

“Trump Rules” and swastikas are just some of what has been appearing on cars, homes and storefronts.

The empty Meglio Furs at Broad and Wharton was vandalized over night Tuesday, with the swastika and “Sieg Heil 2016.” Around 12:15 p.m., the graffiti was being removed from the storefront by the Community Life Improvement Program, reports Philly Mag.

Philly.com also has reports on a few incidents in Bella Vista:

Police said officers responded to reports of vandalism to a house and three cars on the 900 block of South Sixth Street in the Bella Vista section around 8:30 a.m.

One of the damaged cars was a white SUV that had “Trump Rules” and “Black Bitch” spray-painted across it in large black letters.

Sure looks like the work of some sore loosers. Sadly this will just continue.

As usual, the self important loudmouths on each side end up being the best tool for bringing the average person to the other extreme.
