Mamma Maria Ristorante Closing?

Mamma Maria Ristorante is just weeks away from celebrating 25 years of hand rolled gnocchi and homemade Limoncello, but a recent real estate listing, sent to us from a reader, is bringing an end to an era.  1637-1639 E Passyunk Ave is now on the market.

For a negotiable $3,000,000 you’ll get a first floor restaurant with 4 residential units at the “Best location on Hot trendy East Passyunk Avenue!”

Below is a clip of Mamma Maria appearing on CBS Philly’s, Taste with Tori.

3 Million? Get outa here, this aint rittenhouse sq. The development is exciting on and around EPA but we have to remember this is and must always remain a NEIGHBORHOOD. Nothing on EPA has recently sold anywhere near 3 Mill.

For 3 mil you could buy Interior Concepts down the block. I think I’d take that instead.

As a small business owner It is so sad to see an institution that was been around for a quarter of a century. Hold out for every penny of that 3m. You deserve it
